About us

We believe that for too long agile has become synonymous with the “doing” of ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives and daily huddles. We believe that being agile is a mindset and that true agility unlocks a team’s potential to be happier at work, more impactful with the solutions they’re building, and more focused on their customer’s success.

We believe being agile means:

  • trust in the team
  • innovation and creativity
  • curiosity and learning
  • living lean principles

That’s why our purpose is to help teams be agile.

We believe the way to achieve this is by educating, empowering and giving teams at all stages of agile maturity the tools, support and thought-leadership they need to succeed.

We’re a product and technology-led software company founded by two ex-Atlassian alumni in 2016 and we’ve been building from the bottom up ever since. We’re proud to call over 1,800 companies such as Netflix, Harvard, Amazon, Disney Lego, Mercedes and Twitter our customers.

Easy Agile has 4 products that are built on-top of Atlassian’s flagship product Jira and sold via the Atlassian Marketplace. Every month, over 160,000 agile team members use our apps to help them deliver value to their customers.

Our products help team’s at all stages of their agile journey; from just getting started at sprint planning and persona building, all the way through to enterprise and large scale, team of team planning.

We’re a team of talented and curious graduates, mums, dads, knitting and plant enthusiasts, first-home owners and pet lovers, and we’re proud of our sustainable growth story. Our values are lived and breathed in everything that we do, and have become part of our everyday language.

We’ve made the coastal town of Wollongong, Australia our home and our beautiful new office is nestled between the mountains and the sea. We love our community and show our support through groups like Siligong Valley and our commitment to Pledge 1%.

About the role

We’re continuing to grow and are looking for a new Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in owning the vision, strategy, roadmap and execution of our flagship product, Easy Agile User Story Maps and our newest product Easy Agile Personas.

You will be working in a cross-functional team to expand Story Maps and Personas into the enterprise market. This is a new focus for our team, so this is a great opportunity to jump in and lead the team in navigating this new enterprise focus.

About you

  • You’ve got 2 years of Product Management experience in a cross-functional, agile team.
  • You’re passionate about bringing cross-functional teams along for the journey. You find opportunities at every step of the way to make sure they’re connected to the customer and the problems we’re trying to solve.
  • You have an ability to balance between solving the customer problem and the minimum product that allows a team to ship, learn and iterate.
  • You understand that success is tied to customer outcomes not feature outputs, and combine qualitative and quantitative data to measure impact. You’re are no stranger to user testing and customer interview techniques.
  • You’re a self-motivated learner and you’re generous in sharing your learnings with the team.
  • You prioritise among opportunities, balance the needs of customers with those of the business, and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions.

What you'll be doing

  • Own the customer discovery process. The enterprise focus is new for us, and so we’re eager to learn all we can about our enterprise customers. You will lead the customer discovery process, develop a deep understanding of our market, customer personas, how they work and the opportunities we have to help them be agile.
  • Own the User Story Maps and Personas roadmap. While you’ll work closely with our Head of Product, the roadmap and strategy is ultimately yours to own and drive. You’ll balance prioritising product development with business objectives and delivering what will provide value to the majority of customers (we don’t build garden paths or go down rabbit holes for a single customer). You will be pivotal in helping the team craft and own quarterly OKRs that align business objectives.
  • Take a holistic and collaborative approach. We know that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. You are highly collaborative and you work closely day-to-day with marketing, insights and engineering. You understand the importance of bringing everyone on the journey and making sure we’re aligned to deliver the best possible solutions for our customers.
  • Help us scale. As our third Product Management hire, we want your help identifying our blindspots and opportunities for improvement. You'll propose, test and implement improvements to our product team processes to ensure that we’re punching above our weight.

We'll be excited if you...

  • B2B, SaaS experience
  • Experience working with enterprise software
  • Experience with product management for software or development tools
  • Understanding of/experience working with Atlassian’s product Jira
  • A customer support, marketing or customer centric background
