Our products run within Atlassian Jira and are sold on the Atlassian Marketplace. As an Infrastructure Engineer at Easy Agile, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining our entire AWS stack from development through to production. Your role also includes improving our continuous delivery system and working closely with the team to determine ways to maximise their productivity. Our infrastructure is deployed on AWS and relies heavily on CloudFormation to automate building and upgrading systems.

More about you

You love working with infrastructure and building systems that are reliable and easy to maintain. You have experience with AWS and deploying container based applications. You have thoughtful communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. You are eager to travel to an event or hop on the phone with a customer and learn from their experience. You are courageous in your thinking and you will productively push back on ideas that you don’t agree with using sound logic and reasoning.

You must have

  • A minimum of 3 years experience with infrastructure development in agile, cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with advanced AWS configurations
  • Proficiency with Docker or equivalent container technology
  • Experience in developing and maintaining production level systems
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting for business-critical production systems
  • A passion for learning and sharing both personally and within your community

We'll be excited if you

  • Have experience enabling internal teams to work more effectively
  • Know how to build a continuous deployment pipeline using Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Are regularly committing back to the community in open source, event presentations, or mentoring
  • Have completed a CAIQ-Lite and have experience with ISO27001 and/or SOC2 audits
  • Have a more impressive home network than most medium sized businesses
