We’re looking for a passionate People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner to help us achieve our mission of helping agile teams work better together. Could it be you?
The P&C Business Partner will be responsible for creating people strategies and initiatives that help Easy Agile to attract, motivate and retain A Players. As this is our first-ever people hire, and a stand-alone role, you will need to be agile and confident enough to help us scale, respond to the business’ needs and act as an advisor on all people issues.
Using your emotional intelligence and system two thinking, you will empower our team members to do their best work by providing an amazing employee experience, focusing on helping our team achieve their learning goals, ensuring we define and deliver on our employee value proposition and ensuring that we’re recognised as an employer of choice in Wollongong.
Owning our people pillar, you’ll define our EVP and guide leadership on our P&C strategy, turning desired business outcomes into people strategies and initiatives across the full spectrum of P&C from providing general people advice and direction, recruiting, onboarding, learning and development, 360 reviews, to retention.
You’ll take the time to get to know our team members and support them throughout their career with us. Building and cultivating long-term relationships with candidates outside of Wollongong is a core part of this role. You’ll be responsible for building a recruitment pipeline by proactively sourcing A Player candidates, nurturing relationships and sharing the Easy Agile story far and wide.
** Please note that we are not accepting applications from candidates who’ve previously applied for this role.
Colleagues describe you as authentic, courageous and their go-to person for all things people. Values-driven and people-focused, you are someone who loves delivering an amazing employee experience, measuring impact with a mix of qualitative and quantitative data.
You’re genuinely fulfilled by building amazing teams and creating an environment where people get to do their best work. You understand that ongoing learning and development activities for our team are an indicator of our long-term success and are eager to sit with someone to learn about their career aspirations and provide the support to help them grow.
Hi. I'm Teagan. Product Manager at Easy Agile. I know what it's like to read a job description. You're asking how much of this is real, and what will it really be like if I get the job? I had no idea what working at Easy Agile would be like when I started, but I was only one month in and I was on a plane to San Francisco! You can read all about it in my blog post about my first two years at Easy Agile.
Please send an application that speaks directly to this position. There are no right answers or cookie-cutter expectations. Show us your role in Easy Agile’s future and Easy Agile’s role in yours. Address some of the work we do. Introduce yourself as a colleague. Give it a deep think and take this at your speed. We’re giving you our full attention.
All documents should be in PDF format. There’s no benefit to writing a novel. Keep it sharp, short, and get across what matters to you.
We know this is a lot of work and there’s a lot on the line. It’s a significant career move to consider. We appreciate the generosity and courage that go into giving us that consideration. Our conversation starts with this post. We look forward to hearing from you.
