About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Easy Agile, you understand the importance of available and performant systems and how that contributes to delivering our products to our customers while supporting the needs of our team. Our DevOps team ensures the business has the capacity to grow and scale into the future.

You will work in a team of 3 that supports a growing engineering team of 15. Your role will span across all areas of infrastructure and you will work with some of the latest technologies:

• Internal developer container & tooling
• Our CI / CD pipelines
• Our Infrastructure (Primarily typescript and node.js running on ECS)
• Internal apps that integrate with Jira
• Our data pipeline tying the whole business together
• Business analytics, insight and reporting
• Our partner portal for our global solution partners
• Process automation across the entire business

About you

You love enabling your teammates, and would love to be a part of a values driven company. You genuinely get excited about enhancing teams' capabilties and super charging their productivity. Here's what you'll be working on

• Build infrastructure and systems that are reliable and easy to maintain.
• Design and maintain the entire AWS stack and deploy container-based applications.
• Improve our continuous delivery system and work closely with the Product Engineering team to determine ways to maximise their productivity.
• Work with CloudFormation to automate and builds and upgrade systems.

Your day 1 qualities:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with infrastructure development in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with advanced AWS configurations.
• Proficiency with Docker or equivalent container technology.
• Experience in developing and maintaining production-level systems.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting for business-critical production systems.
• Experience in Typescript, Bash or Python.
• A passion for learning and sharing both personally and within your community.
• You have thoughtful communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

We'll be excited if you..

• Have experience enabling internal teams to work more effectively.
• Know how to build a continuous deployment pipeline using GitHub Actions.
• Are regularly committing back to the community in open source, event presentations, or mentoring.
• Have completed a CAIQ-Lite and have experience with ISO27001 and/or SOC2 audits.
